SPECTRUM FINANCIAL SERVICES
Rapidly expanding financial services group Spectrum Financial purchased their fourth digital system from Link telecom for their new customer contact centre. The latest system will utilise LES10 circuits and VoIP connection of the new site to their head office enabling internal calls across a wide area network saving time and money on telecommunications. The latest system to be installed at Spectrum Financial is another first from Samsung Business Communications, the OfficeServ7200 featuring true voice and data convergence in a single platform and Link telecom were amongst the first Resellers in Europe to accredited to the OS7200 product. Media Gateways within the system enable Voice over Internet Protocol so remote or home worker telephones connected via broadbands are true extensions of the telephone system featuring busy lamps, voicemail and hunt group inclusion.

Samsung Mobility Solutions take Spectrum Financial communications beyond the confines of the office environment providing the freedom to work anywhere for example their employees who regularly travel use the Softphone application loaded on their laptop, whilst staying at hotels, waiting at airports or working from a location that offers high-speed connectivity they remain in contact with their office as an extension of the telephone system.

Link Telecom was recently awarded Spectrum Financial Services mobile and Blackberry contract beating off fierce competition from Vodafone Corporate and other Network providers. Spectrum has a bundled minute tariff for calls to any network but more importantly have free calls between their own group of mobiles. Utilising fixed cellular terminals connected to the main Samsung switch Spectrum's outbound calls to mobiles are made at a very low rate when compared to average landline charges and provide dedicated trunks to mobiles freeing up their landlines for important inbound customer callers.

Blackberry technology was rolled out to Spectrums many Customer Advisors who all now benefit from email on the move regardless of location, time or day. The Blackberry synchronises with desktop applications such as MS Outlook providing the Advisors with instant additions to their busy schedules, Spectrums back office personnel can confidently appoint meetings on behalf of the Advisors delivering true transparency to the business.
